Who we are

Serene Scene is operated by Envision Yourself Empowered, LLC (“Serene Scene,” “we,” “us”). This policy describes the Serene Scene Player Android app and related practice web portal at serenescene.app.

What the app does

Serene Scene Player is a chairside kiosk app for dental practices. It plays calming video content on a tablet and optional AR glasses. It is a comfort and distraction tool, not a medical device.

Information we collect

• Practice account: name, email, and password (hashed) when your office creates or signs in to a practice account.
• Device registration: a device identifier (such as Android ID), optional device label, and last-seen timestamps so your practice can see whether tablets are online.
• Optional patient feedback: star rating and short comment if the patient chooses “Share feedback” on the tablet. We do not collect patient names, dates of birth, or dental record numbers in this flow.
• Technical logs: standard server logs (IP address, request time) for security and reliability.

What we do not collect

• Protected health information (PHI) or electronic health records
• Patient names or contact information through the feedback form
• Precise location from the tablet
• Advertising identifiers for third-party ad networks

How we use information

• Authenticate practice staff and paired tablets
• Deliver and update your assigned video playlist
• Show optional feedback summaries to your practice in the web portal
• Operate billing and support for subscribing practices
• Improve reliability and security of the service

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We use service providers (such as cloud hosting and payment processing) under contracts that limit use of data to providing the service. We may disclose information if required by law.

Google reviews

If your practice adds a Google review URL, the app may open that link in the browser after optional patient feedback. That interaction is between the patient and Google under Google’s policies.

Retention

We retain practice and device data while your subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for billing and legal compliance. You may request deletion of your practice account by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Children

The service is intended for use in dental offices under staff supervision. It is not directed to children under 13 for independent sign-up.

Your choices

• Practice staff can update profile and review settings in the practice portal.
• Patients are never required to rate or review.
• Contact us to access, correct, or delete practice account data where applicable.
